The Palladium Series: The Other Side of Dance features one of the last series created by beloved local dance photographer Thomas Kramer (1934–2022). Long, Long Skirt artfully captures a diverse group of dancers individually wearing the same extremely long and dramatic skirt, exploring possibilities of movement, form, and beauty. It is part of a larger body of work created during the COVID pandemic focusing on the unexpected constraint of dancers being photographed from the back, offering a beautiful visage that is not often shared with audiences.
