FOCUS FRIDAY is a monthly lecture series led by one of LRMA’s docents or curatorial staff to highlight a work from the museum’s permanent collection. The program takes place on the first Friday of every month (February – May and September – December) at 12 – 1 p.m. in the Made in Florida Gallery. Admission is by a suggested donation of $10.

Friday, September 4, 2026, will feature the artist William Wegman and highlight “William of Orange,” 2009, color photogravure with soft ground aquatint and drypoint. Presented by Sharon Bressen.

This gallery features the collection of the former Gulf Coast Museum of Art. In 2010, the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art acquired the collection which ranges from landscape paintings by noted 19th century American artist George Inness to contemporary photographer Clyde Butcher.
