FOCUS FRIDAY is a monthly lecture series led by one of LRMA’s docents or curatorial staff to highlight a work from the museum’s permanent collection. The program takes place on the first Friday of every month (February – May and September – December) at 12:00 – 1:00 pm in the Made in Florida Gallery.

Friday, October 2, 2026, will honor Hispanic Heritage Month and feature the surrealist artist Oscar Vargas and highlight “Descend and Dialogue,” 1994, charcoal on paper. Presented by LRMA curator Sara Felice.
