Markus Gottschlich: Solo Piano Explorations is a solo concert by Austrian-American jazz pianist and composer Markus Gottschlich, a Steinway Artist. The program features original compositions alongside reimagined jazz standards for solo piano and electronics, incorporating multimedia elements and live electronic processing in partnership with SPC professor Chad Mairn and digital artist Ben Czech.

The performance explores narrative, memory, and sonic texture, creating an immersive experience where acoustic piano and contemporary technology intersect.

Join us for refreshments in the lobby and explore the museum’s spring exhibition and permanent collection galleries from 6 – 7:30 p.m.. Performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Interactive Gallery.
