Come, join us in conversation about preservation: the science, the desire, the ways to achieve it, the challenges, and the glory of spaceship earth.
This City of Tarpon Springs Sustainability Committee partnership discusses the importance of land preservation in our community. Joining the panel discussion will be Professor Kelli Stickrath, Biologist SPC, Tex Carter, a founder and president of WK Preservation Group, and Casey Bauer, Conservation Finance Director for Florida at Trust for Public Land, and astronaut and SPC Alumni Nicole Stott. Moderated by City of Tarpon Springs Sustainability Committee Chair Dr. Carol Mickett. Students are encouraged to attend, especially those who are studying natural sciences. This program complements LRMA’s current exhibitions series Time Changes Everything, featuring Beth Bischoff, Margie Hughto, Darcy Gerbarg, and Babs Reingold.
